Aspen Hotel Cancels Its ‘Winter Wonderland’ Show After 2 Dead in Colorado

Aspen hotel guests were told to stay at the resort because of a manhunt for a person wanted in Colorado for a mass shooting, a resort spokeswoman said.

Aspen’s Winter Wonderland on Saturday was cancelled, the spokeswoman said in a statement.

The resort said it would provide a list of additional hotels.

“While we have not confirmed any individual or persons associated with the alleged incident, we have no further information to share at this time,” the statement said.

The resort has not released any further details about the incident.

The Aspen Valley is known for its snow-making and snowshoeing season, but it was snow-free for the last two days.
