A president who says he’ll be “taking on the Clinton Machine” is not an “absolute” threat, but the reality is that he is a dangerous man, the former New York City Mayor Mike Bloomberg said in an interview aired Wednesday on CNN.
The Bloomberg administration has faced criticism for the way it has handled Trump’s treatment of protesters and protesters-turned-terrorists.
The New York Times reported on Sunday that Trump called for a special prosecutor to investigate whether Hillary Clinton was responsible for the September 11, 2001, terrorist attacks.
The administration’s response was to ask a federal judge to dismiss the charges.
Bloomberg said Wednesday he thinks that Trump’s remarks are dangerous and that they do not reflect the character of the president.
“I’m a firm believer that this is a guy who has never held a job or had a job that he doesn’t have a personal stake in,” he said.
“He’s been a businessman and has made billions of dollars over the years.
He’s a businessperson, but he doesn’ t know any better.
He is willing, he has the capacity to make statements that are absolutely outrageous. “
This is a man who is willing to say these things.
“That doesn’t mean I think the American people are going to be comfortable with him saying these things.” “
Bloomberg also warned Trump not to try to “tear down” the First Amendment. “

Bloomberg also warned Trump not to try to “tear down” the First Amendment.
“There are times when he is going to have to get up and say something,” he told CNN.
“But I think what I think he is, and what the American public is going be watching is, ‘Where is the line?’
I am not buying it.'””
The American people need to stand up to Donald Trump and say, ‘I am not going to stand for it.
I am not buying it.'”
