It’s the hotel that’s been going out of business, but its still a fixture in New York City.
This hotel’s now on the brink of bankruptcy, and is being owned by a Chinese investor, who is now looking to move it to another city.
The owner, who goes by the name “Mooch”, is trying to stay afloat by selling the hotel to a Chinese buyer who wants to refurbish it into a hotel.
“I am trying to make a profit,” he says.
“There are no other hotels in the city.
It’s a little scary, but I think that’s what it’s going to take.”
Mooch is trying his best to stay relevant by selling his own hotel, in order to survive.
“We have to stay in the game,” he said.
“If you are not going to survive and have to go elsewhere, you need to be able to survive on your own.”

You can also be good as a landlord, and that can make a difference to the success of your hotel, but Mook has to make sure he’s making a profit.
“The key is, how much is your profit?” he said, “and how much do you have on your books?”
Moochy and his team of staff have been spending the past year making the hotel profitable.
“It’s all about money,” he added.
“How much is on the books is a big factor.”
MOOCH: “We are trying to sell it to somebody who wants it refurbished” As part of the refurbishment process, the hotel will need to make changes to the interior and exterior.
“This is a brand new hotel, so we are trying everything we can to make it look brand new,” he explained.
“They are looking for a brand-new hotel, and we are all looking to make this hotel as good as possible.”
MEECH: Hotel rooms are always on the market.
We try to make everything we possibly can on the spot to make money.
He added that “our bathrooms will be improved, so that they look like they are brand new.” “
Our hotel is going to be completely renovated, and our kitchen will be refurbished as well,” Moochu said.

Meech and his staff will be looking to get the hotel fully up to code, and will be spending money on upgrades to the rooms.
“Most of the rooms are brand-fresh,” he told me.
“A lot of our bathrooms are brand fresh.
There are new kitchen appliances.
They are all brand new.
The bathrooms are cleaned, and all our food will be cooked.”
Moosch said he had some major reservations about moving his hotel from New York to China, but he is happy that he is able to offer the hotel the opportunity to be an asset to the city for the benefit of its residents.
“That’s really important to me,” he concluded.
“Because I think New York has the greatest opportunity to grow in terms of tourism, and New Yorkers will benefit from that.”
